Never forgetting the hardships she experienced when she first landed on Australian soil, Betty seeks to provide others life changing opportunities and inspiring others to realize their dreams through her involvement with a number of philanthropic projects around the world. Betty’s commitments and dedications to the development of the fashion industry and to young women entrepreneur was acknowledged when she was awarded as winner of "Telstra’s business woman of the year award" for Western Australia and "40 under 40" awards in 2016.
As Betty continues her journey and mission to give back to her birth country Vietnam. In 2017, Betty was appointed to be the ambassador for fashion in Vietnam by Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to develop philanthropic projects which focus on developments in woman economic empowerment, youth education, gender equity and social justice. This opportunity also brought Betty’s involvement to become the judge of “Sustainable Fashion Competition” hosted by Elle Magazine Vietnam in partnership with the Australian Government and RMIT University Vietnam.
